Co-curricular Achievements – Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women

Students participated in Bhai Sahib Bhai Narain Inter-college Competitions organized by Sidhwan Group of Institutes and won the Overall Trophy by bagging 1st Prize in Poster-making (Sukhman – BA I), Slogan writing competition (Jeevika – BA II) and PPT Presentation (Damanpreet – BCA III).

4 students of BBA Semester III participated in the Rangoli competition on October 30, 2021 organised by Rashtriya Kala Manch. Saloni and Taniya of BBA Semester III got 2nd prize in the competition.

GNKCW students shine in National Level Inter-college competitions organised by Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana on the occasion of 150th Birth celebrations of Sri Aurobindo Ghosh on 16th October 2021. The following prizes were won by the students:

In the Business Plan competition, the team of Mehak Malhotra, Taniya, Saloni (BBA 3rd semester) and Aishna (BCom 5th semester) bagged 2nd prize.
Drishti (BA 1st Semester) obtained first prize in Collage-making competition.
In Rangoli competition, Avneet Kaur (BA 3rd Semester) got third prize.
Deepali (BBA 3rd Semester) obtained first prize in Cartooning competition.
Inter college Calligraphy and Bookmark-making Competition was held at B.C.M College of Education on October 20, 2021. The following prizes were won by our students:

In Calligraphy- Parampreet of B.A Sem I won 2nd prize and Chahat of B.Com Sem III got the 3rd prize.

In Book Mark Making- Parampreet Kaur B.A Sem I won 2nd prize along with Appreciation Prize.

An inter-college Media Fest “VRITIKA” was organized by Delhi Metropolitan Education, Media School, Noida from October 09-15, 2021. Mehak Arora of PGDMC won 3rd Prize in Book/Movie Review Competition.
An Inter-College Sonnet Writing Competition was organized by the Literary Club of GGDSD college Chandigarh on September 25, 2021. Harshpreet Kaur (MA-I) won the 1st prize along with cash prize of Rs. 1500/-.

We are proud to share that our student Simarjot Kaur of BA II Year, under the guidance of Mrs. Shikha Kalra (Home Science) and Dr. Shikha Bajaj (Fashion Designing) secured second position in Millet Based nutritious recipe contest.
As a part of National Nutrition month, this contest was organized on September 07, 2021 by the Department of Foods and Nutrition, College of Community Science, PAU, Ludhiana.
